Um, oops. Poor Anthony WorrallThompson, famous chef and owner of six restaurants. He made a rather large mistake in a magazine article suggesting new salad recipes. He told everybody that he recommends using the weed henbane in salads. Um, apparently Henbane is highly poisonous! Now the magazine has had to issue a correction on its site and send out letters to all its subscribers. Worrall Thompson’s only explanation is he was thinking of another herb, but he never says what that is. Is he afraid of making another deadly mistake?
One thing’s for sure. If he ever recommends that you eat fugu, and doesn’t mention special preparations, run away!
