The number of children legally turned over to Nebraska hospitals thanks to the state’spoorly written safe haven lawhasjust risen by 9.
The kids, dropped off by their father at the Creighton University Medical Center, range in age from 1 to 17.
It’s not yet known why they were left there, but a news conference has been called for later today, so we may find out more then.
