>This comes from brother Brad. he didn’t come right out and tell me to post it, but knowing him that’s what’s supposed to happen. Thanks for the kind words, buddy.
What in the world is wrong with people? I just heard on the news that there’s going to be a new show similar to the Bachelor, only to, shall we say, help those more corpulent folks among us find that waddling blob of jelly they have been seeking for years.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but do you see the need for this? Can’t these people just go on the, I hesitate to use the word “normal” version of this show? Or better yet, go out and wander around and look for your new potential significant other? Aren’t there enough stupid pointless waste of space shows out there as it is?
There was some sort of debate on after the news, two people one for and one against it. They both had good points and bad ones. One said that if someone wants to eat 2 steaks, half a dozen potatoes, and 3 or four slabs of pie, more power to them. If they’re happy with themselves, why shouldn’t they find someone, while the other person said it was totally disgusting and pointless to even consider such a thing.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I have nothing against fat people. I mean, Look at Steve. He’s a wee bit hefty, but he’s still a good guy. But, is there any reason to air stuff like this?
I don’t know, maybe it’s just me. I still firmly believe that good television died when the last reruns of The Beverly Hillbillies went off the air and they stopped showing Alf. So, my opinion probably really doesn’t mean that much.
