I think everyone who is going into volunteer or paid work in social work should read this story to teach them about boundaries.
What the hell was wrong with this psychologist that she believed these delusions and went so far as to hide the women in a hotel and call in detectives without checking out a single detail of it? Why in hell would she buy glasses to shield the woman’s eyes from the laser beams she believed were controlling her? How could someone who was doing this for so long be so gullible?
What a mess…and the scariest part is she’s still allowed to practice.
