What is this, show all the stories that could make me shake my head day? I know that sounds dumb considering the stuff we post up here, but come on.
I know lots of parents have shown their kids how to drive long before they’re 16. Kids drive tractors and trucks and stuff in fields all the time. Buta road leading to a canal that has no guard rail is probably not the place to have the first lesson. Also, if you’re going to let a kid drive, it should probably just be you and him in the car. Otherwise, bad things could happen to you, like happened to the family of Gregorio Paulino-Ortega.
The 41-year-old was driving along with his 12-year-old son sitting beside him. In the back were his wife, one-year-old daughter and six-year-old son. They were on a road near a canal when suddenly he thought it would be a swell plan to switch seats with his son and let him drive.
Immediately, the son put the car into gear by accident, drove right across the road and into the canal. Son and pops are fine, but mom and the rest of the flock are in critical condition. Just excellent.
I wonder if he had cleaned his lit fireplace with an aerosol recently.
