Doing this provides me with a lot of chances to ask questions. Questions such as seriously, how do you forget to bring your pit bull home from your crime spree?

While investigating a string of burglaries that took place in the city Sunday, police found a pit bull left behind at one crime scene, Seattle’s KOMO-TV reported. One of the investigating officers recognized the dog as belonging to a 19-year-old man.

Police officers went to the man’s home, and allegedly saw some of the stolen items. They later returned with a search warrant and found more items that were reported stolen.

the unidentified man was charged with residential burglary and currently resides in the Lewis County Jail. NO word on where the dog is staying or if it’s tried to walk off with anything while it’s been there.
