A Florida man faces allegations of retail theft, accused of shoplifting from a Walmart at a most inopportune time.
Grant Scott Timm, 35, was arrested last Wednesday evening on a charge of retail petit theft with a value of $100 or less after he was allegedly caught shoplifting at the Walmart in Lecanto during the Shop with a Cop event hosted by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO).
When questioned by one of the many officers he discovered a few minutes too late were in the area, Timm admitted to taking some steaks because he was hungry and didn’t have money. He also handed over a bicycle computer. A further search turned up some methadone tablets that police say were not prescribed to him, which probably explains everything else that’s wrong here.
What the heck’s a bicycle computer?
Would have to ask the Google to verify this, but I believe they’re small bike mounted gadgets that can have GPS and heart rate tracking and all manner of things in them.
