Not sure how big the target audience is for segments like this, but I definitely enjoyed it. Then again I’m not sure how big the audience is for Impact in general these days, so maybe it doesn’t matter. As good as the show is, the company is pretty far off of most people’s radars at this point. So where normally I would say that something this inside baseball would probably do more to confuse and alienate people than anything else, most of the people still watching Impact now are likely the very ones who might enjoy it. And hey, it’s different. Nobody else is doing anything like it on TV. With so much wrestling to choose from now, you have to do what you can to stand out. This certainly does that.
