Old Blues On New Vinyl

This will be old news to some of you, but if it’s new to me it’s probably new to somebody else, so…

Third Man Records, the label owned by Jack White who pretty much does everything at this point, has teamed up with Document Records to reissue a whole bunch of classic blues on vinyl.

The series is called The Complete Recorded Works in Chronological Order, and it kicked off with volumes by Charley Patton, Blind Willie McTell and the Mississippi Sheiks. That’s a pretty swell lineup to start things off with, I must say.

You can find out more at the link above, and you can find out even more than that and get your hands on some records by going to the Third Man Store.

I would in fact like these very much, in case you were wondering. You likely weren’t, but you know, just in case.
