Well shit. I just went to Holly’s blog and it looks like the tumour’s gotta come out. January 11, whether or not she has the money for the ABI, the surgery to remove the tumour has to happen. It’s pressing on her brain stem and all kinds of not cool stuff. If I understand it correctly, there is no opportunity to get the ABI after the fact, but I could be wrong.
I hope that even if she can’t get the ABI, she tries for a Deaf Blind Communicator. It won’t give her any hearing back, but it might work a little better to communicate than what she’s doing now.
Damn it all. Damn tumours, damn NF2, just damn.
