Hmmm. I think political correctness needs a straightjacket. In Britain, if you are interested in a position as an air traffic controller, feel free to ask for the application in braille. They’ll have to give it to you, only to have you fail out when it’s time for the medical exam.
Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! When part of the job’s requirements is the applicant’s perfect vision, people who need braille are out of the pool. This should be common sense. I wouldn’t be offended in the least if they refused to provide me with a braille application for this job. Why? Because I’m ineligible because I need braille. The same goes for being a driver of any kind.
