Not much to say here, just posting to point out that for many of us, today is municipal election day. If you didn’t do so in advance and aren’t already lined up or planning to be on your way, you really should get out and vote. I know a lot of people don’t think that local elections are important, but quite simply, those people are morons. You have to live in your town just like you have to live in your province/state/country, and the decisions your representatives make will have lord knows what impact on your quality of life. I’ll be hiking my hung over ass down to my polling station shortly, just as soon as I eat some breakfast and get the ham in the slow cooker.
And don’t forget that Guelph and I assume other cities as well are offering audio voting, so if voting on paper is a pain in your ass for some reason, that excuse is gone now.
Just go vote, goddammit!
