Remember I said something about vibrating shoes a couple of posts back? Honest, I wasn’t just making up random things. I really have a post about vibrating shoes, vibrating GPS shoes for the blind, in fact.
Well, I guess the GPS is in an Android device, but the directions will get sent to an arduino, which I have just learned is a bunch of sensors that can perceive the world, and were the brains behind that service that called you when your plants needed water, and then this thing sends its directions to vibrating thingamadoodles in the shoes.
Hmmm. Definitely interesting, and definitely lower on cables and wires than other GPS things because signals fly via Bluetooth. Definitely cool that nothing talks in your ear. Hmmm. But is there a way to transfer the motors from pair of shoes to pair of shoes? What if you have to wear orthotics like I do? What if they get wet? How do you recharge your shoes?
Somebody was thinking for sure. I would say it would take some getting used to, but it’s a neat idea.
