Get Hard. Fly Upright

And now, Leonard Sawyerr shows us how to go from being a lawyer to a former lawyer, based on this account of a recent airplane ride.

Sawyerr insisted the arm rest between he and [a] woman remain raised to eliminate any physical barrier and…during the flight he continuously asked her personal questions. When efforts to terminate the conversations failed, the woman put on her ear phones and began watching a movie on her iPhone. At some point during the flight, Sawyerr raised his tray table and the woman observed his erect genitals protruding out of his pants. As she tried to move, he got up and turned towards her with his genitals exposed, at which time he asked if she wanted to climb over him. At that point, she was able to change seats and he then put his genitals back in his pants.

But no, that was far from the end of it.

Sawyerr then had an encounter with one of the flight attendants while making a bathroom run. the woman said he was staring at her oddly and it was making her uncomfortable. Why? He seems like such a friendly sort.

Sawyerr exited the bathroom and began to return to his seat, but suddenly looked back, turned around and walked back towards her.

He entered the bathroom again and, upon his exit, opened his jacket revealing his erect genitals sticking out of his pants. When the flight attendant told him he was being inappropriate, Sawyerr stated, “can’t a guy have his fly undone?” and returned to his seat.

Strangely, Sawyerr had enough self awareness to realize that this flight was probably going to ruin him, according to another flight attendant who overheard him talking about the impact it was probably going to have on his legal career. Why not stop then, you wonder. Well I guess you just get to a certain point and there’s no turning back, that’s my best guess.

Sawyerr is set for sentencing in August. He could face as much as 90 days in prison and a $5,000 fine for each of the countss he was convicted on. That means he could be on the hook for $10,000 based on 2 counts of committing lewd, indecent or obscene acts.
