So I’m updating apps on my phone this morning when I spot this line in the notes for the new version of Be My Eyes.
“We now require users who sign up as blind to use Voice Over to avoid abuse.”
I like to think my imagination is pretty alright, but I’m having a hard time figuring out what sort of abuse they’re hoping to prevent. Is it as simple as people in such need of a life that they’re pretending to be blind, or is there some kind of sexting I haven’t heard of that would be impossible for a real, screenreading blind person to pull off, if you will?
Either way, quit ruining a good thing, you morons!
