Big Bank Hank Cashes In

This happened a few months ago, but I’m just hearing about it now. Lord, I say that a lot.

Henry Jackson A.K.A. Big Bank Hank of the Sugarhill Gang, has died at age 58. He was one third of the group that recorded “Rapper’s Delight”, which may or may not be the first rap song ever recorded. It also may be one of the longest, clocking in at close to 15 minutes.

Even if hip hop isn’t really your thing you’ve probably danced to that somewhere at least once, and you may even like it a little. It’s hard not to.
