Wow, today is a great day for cool stories. Here’s another one.
I don’t think there are many of us who are able to harass the one who stole our car into giving it back, but that’s exactly what Lindsey Ryan did. I guess a 14-year-old punk stole her SUV with her husband’s cellphone in it. Instead of canceling the phone and reporting it stolen, she used her online wireless account to see where it was phoning, and then phoned all the numbers it phoned. Through his relatives, she tracked him down, called him 38 times throughout the night, and when she got him in the morning, he called her crazy and said she could have her car back.
It doesn’t sound like it got banged up too badly, and the boy’s being charged, so it all worked out.
