Let’s update the lexicon of things not to do during one’s trial, shall we?

After one has been convicted, it is never a good idea to interrupt a judge’s sentencing to say get on with it. That will only anger the judge, causing him to tack on a few more years to your already long sentence. It is especially bad form to insist that you don’t have time for this. Oh, Trammel Bledsoe, you have more than enough time. You have 41 years of it.
