So, let me get this straight here. A perfectly capable blind couple has to fight to get their baby back, but this woman can have a perfectly good shot at killing her third child, no problem. She not only nearly starved her other two kids, but when they were taken away from her, she tried to give one of them a laxative in her bottle on a supervised visit because she thought the kid was getting too fat. Now, while carrying child no. 3, she didn’t give it enough nourishment. But a judge says she can have her kid and nothing will be done to keep her from taking the baby home.
Just depressing. This is the exact sort of case where we know what’s going to happen. I mean, this didn’t just happen with one kid, but two, and it’s happening with no. 3! How many warnings do we damn well need?
