Maybe it’s because of people like Jennifer Petkov that schools scrutinize birthday party invites and Valentine’s Day cards are not allowed. But if that’s the case, this world is in even more trouble than I thought.
It all started with a birthday party. Kids were playing in the yard of the Rose household and Jennifer Petkov texted the family and asked if her kids could come and play. A response didn’t come fast enough for her liking, so two years of harassment started, being topped off by making fun of the Roses’ dying seven-year-old granddaughter with posters and props. Yeah, because that’s mature. Putting up posters with the little girl’s mother in the arms of the grim reaper, and the little girl’s face in the centre of a set of crossbones is just downright nasty. If tragedy some day befalls The Petkovs, I hope Jennifer thinks long and hard about how it would feel if someone were to do this to one of her precious children.
