I don’t think Richard Ott thinks like a sane person. He’s a landlord, and tenants were a couple of months behind on rent. So, at 2:30 one morning, he crashed his hummer into their home, tried to kick the door down, then yelled to the woman on the phone with 911, “Tell them it’s the landlord who did it.” and fled. If he’d have kept his mouth shut, they might not have been able to find him because the tenants always dealt with his brother. So now, instead of just being owed rent, he messed up both the home and the hummer, and he has himself a nice list of charges. Yeah, that was an effective plan.
