Some People Never Learn

For the first time in a while I can say that I really enjoyed an episode of Raw. there was some decent action, the Million Dollar Mania stuff didn’t annoy me to the point of wanting to do harm to people, and the draft, while in the grand scheme of things it’s meaningless since WWE moves people from brand to brand at will, did offer up some interesting possibilities at least until the writing team fucks everything up.

But since it wouldn’t be the Vomit Comet if somebody wasn’t complaining about something, here goes.

Why are they killing Vince McMahon again, and why are they doing it basically right on the 1 year anniversary of
the Benoit tragedy?
I haven’t talked to anybody other than Carin who doesn’t know anything about wrestling other than what she picks up through me and I haven’t read any reactions to it, but I find it impossible to believe that we weren’t the only ones watching the set cave in on him and thinking ok, Vince is dead in June again, who in the wrestling business is going to kill his family this year?

I’d love to know how anybody thought this would make for good TV. At another time of year it might have, but right now it comes off as flat out creepy and insensitive.
