Wow. It’s amazing that because a gas station accidentally set their price to 35 cents a gallon instead of $3.50, they managed to lose 1000 gallons of gas and $3000 in two hours. That’s how you know gas prices are way high. I guess people told everybody about the awesome prices, and there was traffic backed up in all directions. Apparently police had to restore order. what makes this story amusing is it happened at Lucky Mart. I guess it was lucky for the customers. It certainly wasn’t lucky for the store.
I thought it was funny that the owners sister was shocked that people didn’t tell the owner about the error. Why should they? How would they know it was an error? For all they know, the store was having a crazy gas give-away sale as some kind of promotional deal.
One things’ for sure, the unlucky owner is taking this whole thing well. I hope it does end up paying dividends for her.
