I’ve decided that I need to start putting more of the music I’m sent to use. Between stuff from the news feeds I watch and the stuff that’s sent to me from my days as music editor at the late sorta kinda maybe greatish Salty Ham, I have a lot of free tunage just hanging around. I’ll be honest, most of it sucks. I don’t mean sucks like it needs one of those posts that people tell me they love, I mean sucks like I listen to it for about 30 seconds to a minute and then have to give up because I have better things to do with my day, like trying to pluck out my eyes with a crochet hook.
But now and then I do get some good stuff, and I want to share more of it to spread good music to the world.
Case in point, this song by a band called Free energy. The song is called Free Energy (yes it’s quite creative). It’s very catchy and reminds me of something I can’t quite put my finger on. I have no idea when their debut album comes out, but judging from this song it’s an album I may have to investigate further and quite possibly buy when it does.
