So another murder defendant slugged his lawyer. Bla bla bla, add him to the list. But the consequences for this guy were, um, quite interesting.
On Wednesday, he returned to Gallagher’s courtroom for the first time since the outburst with his wrists, legs and head strapped to a rolling chair, and his mouth covered. The restraints will be in place whenever he returns, the judge said.
So, imagine what effect that will have on the jury. I’m not saying that he shouldn’t be chained up and muzzled like a vicious dog, but um, I think that will definitely kinda negate any testimony that he gets that says really, he’s a nice guy.
