I’ve heard of robbers crying, apologizing, or losing their nerve, but I don’t think I’ve heard of a robber asking their victim if this was a bad idea. I’ve also not heard of a robber punching someone in the face and then staying around to find glasses that had been knocked off during the struggle, but still stealing the person’s iPod. But apparently, that’s what Mason Audetat did.
There’s a small part of me that feels sorry for the guy. But then I think about the poor people he jumped on in the street in the dark, and I don’t feel sorry for him as much anymore. I’m just left thinking he’s weird.
