I am suddenly filled with rage at the father. So you couldn’t save your wife. That’s sad. But what the fuck kind of shape do you think you’re leaving your son in by telling him you’re going to shoot yourself, threatening to shoot anyone who came near you and then doing it while he runs to get some help? Just what the hell is that? John C. Clark, I know you will never read this, but maybe you should have cut back on the booze. Then maybe you wouldn’t act like such a fool and leave such a crater in your absence.
