Ashley Kirilow’s Sentence, Such As It Is

Well I guess this is the end of the line for Ashley Kirilow, and it looks like jail isn’t involved. She got a conditional sentence of ten months of house arrest, followed by five months with a kerfew and two years of probation during which she has to do community service. I guess if she screws up, she could get locked away for 14 years.

I have a feeling she’s going to have a hard time getting people to agree to let her do her community service at their organization. I’d be making sure she could not get anywhere near the money, and couldn’t be in contact with vulnerable people who could be conned. There’s a difference between an ordinary thief and her.
