Here’s a small post that I really wanted to get up there. There’s more of the great beast of a post to go, but this one would be quick and easy.
When I got Trix, mid-way through class, I got a sheet called “fun things about my puppy.” They read it to me, and it told me lots of cute things about the Trixter. One of the things it mentioned was that she had grown up with a pet dog named Pepper who was around 7 at the time.
Well, apparently Pepper just left us to cross over the rainbow bridge. I got an email from her raisers.
For some reason that really made me think about Trix getting older…something I don’t like to think about. I just wish I could make Trix immortal.
So, so long Pepper. I’m sure you taught all of the pups raised in that home lots of things about being a good dog. I wish there was a way to tell the Trixter the news.
