Here’s something or other From Gill. Sort of reminds me of that sorry attempt by Pepsi and Hockey Canada to get us all excited by Cheer Nation, including chanting “Eh! O’ Canada Go!” Remember that? Some asshole actually submitted that entry and won a contest with it, if memory serves. Thankfully most Canadians appear to have had enough self-respect not to have fallen for it, realizing that forced official cheers based on pretty much anything but especially marketing are stupid and lame. Go Canada!
Recently I found myself with time on my hands. Most people who know me know that when that occurs something crazy is about to go down.
Two years ago when the Summer Olympics was in London the same thing occurred, causing me to come up with my own little Canada cheer. That was mostly fist pumping and shouting the word go.
This year’s cheer is this- three gos while stamping my feet followed by Canada, and three ohs while clapping my hands.
What do you out there think of that?
