It would be funny to collect all the factory resets for a bunch of phones and do this as often as possible.
That telemarketer will be one pissed off dude…but he’s one pissed off dude who can’t make a call until they fix it.
My dad got all mad when I mentioned this. “What a constructive use of your time. Why not do something useful?” Oh? And stopping a telemarketer from harassing a few hundred people isn’t useful? Or, teaching him that he shouldn’t assume someone on the other end of a phone is who he says he is isn’t useful? The next person could steal his credit card info.
I wish I was half as convincing as that guy. That was great.
If I were more up on call centre phone systems I’d probably answer every telemarketing call we got. It’s still a pretty substantial number, by the way. Thanks, do not call list, you crate of fail.
