There Is A Time For Outrage, But That Time Is Not All The

Gilbert Gottfried has written a great article all about apologies and people’s need to have their delicate sensibilities protected at every turn, especially in the age of social media. His focus is naturally on the stupidity of getting outraged at a comedian for doing his job, but there’s a broader point about how meaningless a lot of apologizing has become in general. I want you all to read it and think about it the next time you feel like getting outraged over everything anyone says.
