U.S. jails mustn’t be too crowded if some city inspectors want to throw an 83-year-old woman in jail for a garage that was converted to a bedroom. yeah, it’s a public safety issue. Um, dudes, the house has been like this for 30 years without endangering public safety. How about just waiting until someone else moves in and then saying they have to change it. Leave the old lady alone.
