Officials in Deltona, Florida, have come up with what they hope will be the answer to the city’s serious problem with insects. The plan is tomove a bunch of bats into the area to eat them.Experts say that just one bat is capable of consuming about 1000 mosquito-sized bugs per hour, making them a good candidate to take care of a large number of the pests fairly quickly.

Strangely, so far there’s been no word on how they plan to deal with the impending manmade bat infestation.
