Here’s a case of someone who’s going to be scarred for life.
an aptly named man named James Looney decided that he had to give his girlfriend a lesson in gun safety. His method? Hold a gun to his own head and ask her if when he pulled the trigger, it would go off. the first two guns did not fire. However, you know what they say about the third time being the charm. He was taken to the hospital, and was pronounced dead. And yes, alcohol was involved.
What I can’t figure out from the telling of the story is was the safety on on the third gun and it just failed? Or was he testing her and didn’t actually put the safety on? Then, when he asked her if the gun would go off and she said no, he was too drunk to react quick enough and not fire the gun?
Either way, I doubt she’ll ever touch a gun again.
