Ya know, I hate having to take praise away from people, but it appears I have to this once.
Three years ago, when I set up the feedburner by email thingamabob, I couldn’t have been happier. There was a captcha, but there was audio. so yea. Now, I hear they took the audio captcha away.
Madmadmadmad. Steamsteamsteamsteam! I’m especially angry because Google bought Feedburner. Hellooo Google, remember that little petition you received when you had no audio captcha for your google account signup? Why would you take audio captcha away when you know people need it?
I tried to write to support, but whenever I clicked “contacting us,” it would take me to a help article on how to move my feeds over to Google. So I gave them a heapin’ helpin’ of Carin’s pit bull teeth in their feedback area. They were diplomatic pit bull teeth, but they were teeth nonetheless.
So, we don’t know how long the audio alternative has been gone, but if anybody has been blocked from signing up, please email me or Steve, and we’ll sign you up. We totally had no idea this had changed, and we apologize. Us having a captcha means we’re pulling a “Miss Function!” Except we right our wrongs when we find out they’ve been committed!
